Physician Assistant
In collaboration with our orthopaedic surgeons, Mackenzie conducts physical exams, diagnoses and implements treatment plans, provides injections, places orders, interprets tests, conducts hospital rounds, and writes prescriptions.
Mackenzie fell in love with Orthopaedics as a teaching assistant for Kinesiology and Anatomy during her undergraduate education. She has also had her fair share of dance and soccer injuries which initially piqued her interest in this specialty.
“I have been interested in the medical field for as long as I can remember. My favorite thing about Orthopaedics is the opportunity to enhance and improve my patients’ quality of life. It is so rewarding to play a role in alleviating my patients’ pain and helping them get back to doing what they love.”
